Persona 2 is unique in that it is a duology, the stories of Tatsuya and stories of Maia. The duology is divided into Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, here I am talking about Innocent Sin.
Persona 2 was first released in 1999on the PS1 and was re-released on the PSP in 2011. The games are made by Atlus, one of my favorite game companies. I had the chance to play the PSP remastered version of the game.
I started my journey through the Shin Megami Series starting with Persona 3, and I loved every moment of it. So I decided to play Persona 1 to see how this all started. And I will let you know here, I was not a fan of it, and I did not finish it. I may return to it in the future, but this is me talking about the past.
In the world of Shin Megami Tensei, demons can be negotiated with. This mechanic is not present in all SMT games, the popular games without this mechanic being Persona 3 and Persona 4. Simply put, deal with the devil to get more power, or money, or be scammed.
As the title would suggest, this game is a direct sequel to Digital Devil Saga 1. The game was made by Atlus for Playstation 2 in 2005, one year after the first game. Once again the character designs are by Kazuma Kaneko. This is the game that gets compared to Nocturne a lot as they are similar mechanically.
Digital Devil Saga is a Playstation game that was released by Atlus following the success of Nocturne. It is not part of the main series, although it shares many similarities. The game was released 2004, and the designs were once again done by legendary Kazuma Kaneko.
